The Great Commission Mission

First Christian is Missions-Involved. We are a hands-on church. We directly support missions by actively participating in church building projects. We frequently send workers to assist in the construction of church buildings, chapels and other construction projects. Of course, we also are very actively involved financially through organized monthly support.

The elders of the church have dedicated 15% of our monthly general fund offerings to Missions support. Our Missions Team identifies, selects and directs the monthly disbursement to our missionary family.

• MEALS ON WHEELS - First Christian participates in the Meals on Wheels program for Eureka Springs.  One week out of each month, our members volunteer to pick up and deliver hot meals to the elderly and the shut-ins of Eureka Springs.  It is a much needed and very satisfying ministry to take part in. If you would like to be a part of this very needed and effective ministry to our community, contact Sandy Widger, our church coordinator, at 479-244-0224.
